Learn the basics of curling safely: delivery, sweeping, game rules, and teamwork!

Moving safely: Learn how to walk on the ice using a gripper (anti-slip sole) and how to use the slider only during deliveries.
Finding your balance: Get used to the sliding sensation and adopt the correct posture to prevent falls.
- Learn the delivery technique (The Slide)
The starting position (The Hack): Line up and settle correctly into the hack.
The push and slide: Master the leg drive to slide forward in a stable and controlled manner.
Stone rotation: Learn how to release the stone with a turn (the curl) to control its trajectory.
- Understand the role of sweeping
Sweeping technique: Learn how to sweep effectively and quickly in front of the moving stone.
Impact on the trajectory: Understand how sweeping warms the ice to increase the stone's distance and straighten its path (reducing the curl).
- Grasp the basic rules and scoring
The playing area (The House): Understand how the concentric circles work.
Scoring points: Learn how to count points at the end of an end (the stone closest to the center/button counts).
The Spirit of Curling: Embrace the core values of sportsmanship, respect for opponents, and courtesy that define the sport.
- Develop teamwork and communication
The positions: Discover the roles of each player (Lead, Second, Third, and the Skip).
Communication: Learn to listen to the Skip's instructions from the other end of the sheet and call out sweeping commands (Hurry!, Whoa!).
