The push and slide: Master the leg drive to slide forward in a stable and controlled manner.

Stone rotation: Learn how to release the stone with a turn (the curl) to control its trajectory.

  1. Understand the role of sweeping Sweeping technique: Learn how to sweep effectively and quickly in front of the moving stone.

Impact on the trajectory: Understand how sweeping warms the ice to increase the stone's distance and straighten its path (reducing the curl).

  1. Grasp the basic rules and scoring The playing area (The House): Understand how the concentric circles work.

Scoring points: Learn how to count points at the end of an end (the stone closest to the center/button counts).

The Spirit of Curling: Embrace the core values of sportsmanship, respect for opponents, and courtesy that define the sport.

  1. Develop teamwork and communication The positions: Discover the roles of each player (Lead, Second, Third, and the Skip).
